One of the most common questions we get asked amongst our Hard Night Good Morning customers is, “How can I have glowing skin in the warmer months?”  As skincare gurus, we wanted to share our thoughts and suggestions on how you can “crack the code” for glowing skin.

To begin with, we always recommend adding a sunscreen to your daily routine all year long, but especially in the summer months, when everyone tends to spend more time outdoors. As a suggestion, try adding an exfoliating cleanser such as our AM Cleanser.  It’s jam-packed with antioxidants as well as jojoba beads, to help gently exfoliate the skin, leaving you with a radiant complexion. As an added benefit, it also helps unclog pores that tend to lead to breakouts. If you have skin that is peeling from an “accidental” dose of too much sun exposure (we know that you would never let this happen 😊), the jojoba beads combined with the enzymatic effect of the papaya will help to slough off the peeling dead skin more effectively, thus revealing new undamaged skin; if used daily when peeling starts. DO NOT aggressively rub gel into skin, as you want the peeling to be as natural as possible without damaging your new skin. You are just giving the process a slight boost.

Since Hard Night Good Morning is an aloe vera based skin care line, you already have an added benefit to soothe summer skin. Another tip for pesky sunburns is to use our Detox Toner. Formulated with ingredients like aloe, dragon fruit and khus extract, our toner helps relieve sunburn symptoms, all while keeping your skin’s pH level balanced. BONUS tip; try packing it in your cooler the next time you’re on the beach for an added cooling effect! Trust us, your skin will be thanking you.

Lastly, don’t forget to stay hydrated, both internally and externally. Drink plenty of water and keep your skin moisturized by using our Daytime Moisturizer for a light and hydrating effect. It also has anti-aging benefits and an anti-inflammatory ingredient for redness, all while helping to combat fine lines and wrinkles. Happy glowing!
